At the Estevan Chamber of Commerce, we advocate on behalf of our membership on the policies and issues that affect their business. At the local level, we are in close communication with the City of Estevan, The R.M. of Estevan and also serve on the board of the Economic Development Council. Provincially we are a member of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce and nationally, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Our memberships in those networks provide our local Estevan business members a voice in all levels of government.

We actively follow what chambers are doing across this province with our membership in the Chamber Executives of Saskatchewan. This provides our staff with chamber specific training through Chamber College and continual educational development at conferences and over teleconference meetings. The united voice of this network, spearheaded by the Saskatchewan Chamber, has resulted in a strong network that provides a united voice with the government and opposition.

This is also the case with the Canadian Chamber network. Each year, chambers from across our nation meet to put forth policy resolutions that are voted upon. If passed, these resolutions provide guidance to the Canadian Chamber to advocate upon on behalf of our country.

The Estevan Chamber also works to keep our membership informed through our many informational events, our social media channels, our monthly newsletter and we actively support advocacy efforts through letter writing, petition co-ordination, and meetings with hour network of stakeholders.
