Events Information

Farm Family of the Year Award (held yearly in February or March)
Farmer’s Appreciation is an event to honour our diversified agricultural community. The event takes place yearly in February or March. It is co-partnered with the Estevan Exhibition Association and consists of a committee comprised of professionals working in the agriculture sector. Prior to the event, the chamber releases a nomination package and the local residents are able to nominate an outstanding farmer in Estevan and area.

Annual General Meeting (held yearly in March)
The AGM must be held within 90 days from the Chamber official year end (December 31) and is generally held at the end of March as a chamber luncheon which consists of a guest speaker, swearing in of Directors, and a short Annual Meeting.

Luncheons (held throughout the year)
The Estevan Chamber of Commerce Luncheons provide members with the opportunity to enjoy a networking meal together while listening to a variety of guest speakers.

Golf Tournament (annually in July)
The first annual Chamber of Commerce netWORKING on the green Golf Tournament was held at the Estevan Woodlawn Golf Course on August 2nd, 2012. It was a nine hole Texas scramble tournament with 14 teams registered. Since that time, it has grown to a full 18 hole Texas Scramble format with over 25 teams attending.

Estevan Business Excellence Awards (EBEX) (held biennially in October)
This event was reintroduced in 2011 with the purpose of recognizing and celebrating the great success and impact of our local business community. The event features awards in various categories including the feature awards of Business of the Year and an inductee to the Estevan Business Hall of Fame. This event alternates in October with the Business Summit.

Business Summit (held biennially in October)
This event will be introduced in 2018 to alternate with the Estevan Business Excellence Awards (EBEX). The event will feature a broad range of business presentations, break-out session and panel discussions on topics that impact area businesses. Speakers will include local business professionals from the membership and where needed, experts will be brought in to assist in providing valuable insight and information.
