Join us in honoring six decades of dedication, hard work, and community spirit. Be part of the celebration as we recognize the incredible contributions of our Farm Family of the Year! Enjoy a delicious supper, and two speakers for the evening.
The opening speaker is Axten Farms, a multi-generational farm, from Minton, Saskatchewan, who focus on the health of their soil to grow nutrient dense grains. They will be presenting on the history of their farm, their current set-up and practices, with their different value-add ventures.
 
The keynote speaker will be John Gormley, speaking about, “Lessons Learned on the Radio: a 25 year Journey Through Saskatchewan & Life”. John Gormley is a lawyer, retired broadcaster, public policy analyst, and best-selling author. For 25 years, John hosted Saskatchewan’s top-rated radio talk show, every weekday morning on CKOM Saskatoon and CJME Regina. As a lawyer, John practices employment law in Saskatoon, has been named King’s Counsel and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has also been involved in a number of charities involving men’s health and prostate cancer and John is an outspoken advocate for all things Saskatchewan.
